WHO ARE the somerset County Democrats?
The SCDC was formed by dedicated volunteers of Somerset County that believe in tolerance, compromise and making Maine a better place for all regardless of Party. Somerset County is home to a diverse population with various points of views. The Democratic Party of Somerset County is open to all views and to common ground regardless of party affiliation. The people of Somerset County regardless of party all want what is best. The Somerset County Maine Democratic Party has an open mind to all views. We are here to work together to make this state prosperous and great.
Somerset County is a very beautiful area in the Heart of Maine. We will be sharing our Democratic values, announcements of upcoming events, candidates’ news, and our collective sense of humor with other like-minded Democrats, no matter where you live. Please join us, and share what’s happening in your neck of the woods! And if you’re fortunate enough to live in Somerset County, Maine, please come to our monthly meetings through zoom and at the Poulin Turner Union Hall in Skowhegan.

Grose led the Maine Dems’ statewide grassroots organizing program during the 2022 campaign On Thursday, Chair Bev Uhlenhake announced that Tim Grose has been selected as the new Executive Director of the Maine Democratic Party.
